Our laser hair removal system employs the latest diode laser technology to quickly and effectively remove unwanted hair from all areas of the body. The treatment works by directing concentrated light energy that converts to heat, targeting the hair follicle at its root. This process inhibits hair growth while maintaining skin integrity, significantly reducing the risk of ingrown hairs and leaving your skin smooth and healthy.

PREPARATION CARE

  • Ensure the treatment area is cleanly shaved (24 hours prior). Shaving is available in clinic for certain areas only (excluding private areas and face) for an additional fee.
  • Avoid the application of deodorants, body oils and moisturiser to the treatment area (24 hours prior)
  • Avoid the application of Vitamin A/Retinol products to the treatment area (1 week prior)
  • Allow 4 weeks prior to your treatment if you have had direct sun exposure. (Any kind of tanning or active sunbathing, with or without SPF).
  • Allow 2 weeks prior to your treatment if you have had incidental sun exposure (stayed in the shade for the majority of the time during sunny periods, with or without SPF on).
  • Avoid the application of fake tan and tanning products such as self-tanning moisturiser (2 weeks prior)
  • Avoid the use of solariums (4 weeks prior)
  • Avoid skin treatments to the treatment area such as skin needling, chemical peels and resurfacing treatments (2 weeks prior).

POST TREATMENT CARE

  • Avoid the application of makeup (24 hours)
  • Avoid direct heat or very hot showers (48 hours)
  • Avoid rubbing, picking or scratching at the skin (48 hours)
  • Avoid wearing tight, irritating or restrictive clothing on the areas treated (48 hours)
  • Use your recommended Synergie Skin products as instructed by your therapist on all treatment areas (72 hours)
  • Avoid active topicals such as Vitamin A creams and retinols (72 hours)
  • Avoid strenuous exercise or any heat-based activities such as saunas, spas or steam rooms (72 hours)
  • Exfoliate the area 5 days following the treatment with Synergie Skin Medisrcub. This will assist with allowing the hair to gradually fall out on its own.
  • Do not pluck or pull at the hairs, allow these to fall out naturally
  • Avoid direct sun exposure to the treatment area and ensure SPF50+ is worn daily (2 weeks)

  • For laser hair removal packages that include multiple areas (e.g., Brazilian & Underarms Package), the areas included in the package must be treated within the same appointment and cannot be split across separate visits.
  • Pre-paid treatment packages are valid for: 5-treatment packages: 8 months from the date of purchase + 10-treatment packages: 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Expired treatments will not be extended unless required by law.
  • Packages are non-refundable in the event of relocation, change of mind, or unused treatments.
